Congratulations on the milestone! I'm looking forward to hearing more of these going forward. Your thoughts on pain were interesting as I've realized that most of my life has revolved around pain management. Keep at it.

Congrats on the milestone and your mood! You have so many revelations in here, bringing all of your perceptive powers to this process. At one point, I complained to my dance teacher that I felt I'd plateaued in the teacher training. She said, "But are you enjoying the process?" I decided that I enjoyed the process so much, I lost all drive for accomplishment and have now done the training 3X without ever graduating. I think it's the same for aerial. So she may now regret having given me that way of thinking ;-)

I love the art for you! You are again paralleling two of my daughters in this. And the oldest one when you talk about your recognition of being an emotional eater causing you to get in touch with your stress. She does the Noom program that focuses on the psychology, which fits her style. After doing too much to put on a birthday party for her husband, she told me she ate dessert, not once, but three times--which showed her she was repressing her feelings. She has to be more emotionally honest with herself than she was before.

I've gotten a little bit addicted to muscle aches, which I only really get if I'm doing something a little bit different. My friend told me yesterday that I was her model in terms of going easy on myself ;-) On Fridays I have my conditioning class and then have dance right after it. It feels good to use my muscles after contracting them.

Mary did both classes when she was here, which she said was more structured than she prefers, but she created a version of 5rhythms dance called Improvidance. I wonder if you have anything like it there.

Happy to be with you on your journey, I always learn so much.

I was telling my oldest, Veronica, about your progress and your art insight, that you needed something in your life that gave you joy without the need for accomplishment. She said that you were so wise, from all the things I've told her about you. And that you were the exact right person to be figuring this out for all of us--with compassion for yourself and insight.

I mentioned to her your goal to lose more each month than the previous, and that you were frustrated when you plateaued. I told her that my experience, in many realms, is that I'd have bursts of progress and then times of calm where I consolidated my gains. It's something the Course talks about in the spiritual realm, I find it true physically and also with my house(s)--I make a big change and then need to settle into it and put on the finishing touches before moving on.

She thought I should tell you that. Staying stable is a win, it makes those eating goals into a habit, it lets your body accommodate its newfound connections to its muscles. You don't need to make progress to progress.

In the beginning, I did so much stuff like this I was so annoying. I have no idea how I was not arrested sometimes. At the first protest with only a few of us, a lad was dressed up in a clown outfit and a cop was chasing him around. The cop tripped lol.
